Your photos and video
Photos and video go straight from one phone to the other over an encrypted WebRTC connection, and the strip is built on your device. snapsy never stores them. When two networks can't connect directly, the encrypted stream passes through a relay that can't read it.
Rooms
A room is a 5-letter code. Our server only passes connection messages between the two phones in a room and keeps nothing after you leave. There are no accounts.
Usage stats
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to count anonymous events, like rooms opened and strips made, so we know what to improve. In the EU and UK we ask before setting its cookie. Settings like your filter choice are saved in your browser only.
